flask-sqlalchemy >=3 support #2038
Comments
Debian and Ubuntu also ship python3-flask-sqlalchemy 3.0.3-1 which causes flask-appbuilder to fail to build from source there. Debian bug: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1036167 |
This is certainly a priority, I'll try my best to find time |
hi @dpgaspar , would there be any update on this dependency upgrade and also on SQLAlchemy > 2 |
I am also interested in this |
#2162 shows mostly working tests. I'll try to improve tests some more and check the examples. In the meantime my most urgent question is if we migrate completely to newer versions or how to handle compatibility testing in CI? |
Do we have any updates on this issue? I am very interested in it |
Any updates? |
Are there any plans to support flask-sqlalchemy >= 3 soon? I see #1940 from last year.
As @risicle mentions, this is blocking us from upgrading flask-appbuilder in Nixpkgs, which is in turn blocking things like apache-airflow. If this could be progressed it would really be appreciated. Thanks!
