This would allow you to test the build of the application on all the operating systems that it is intended to run on. While a build that succeeds on Windows "should" build on the other OSes, it is possible that something doesn't work, which might highlight an underlying problem.

Seems a bit over-engineered to me - especially given what this app is. Also, I don't care if it builds on multiple OSs - as long as it runs on them! ;)

Have you used both? Any preferences if you were just to choose one?
