With the setting "Launch on Startup" Obsidian is added as a login item found within "system settings > General > Login Items and Extensions".
The problem is that every time the app is launched (on boot and whilst booted) the item is always re-added to the login items and a notification is shown.
text: "Obsidian" will open automatically when you log in. You can manage extensions in Login
Items & Extensions.
This is the only login item that is repetitively being re-added and I do not think this is normal behaviour.
An additional annoyance is if I want to add Obsidian to launch from startup manually from "system settings", the next time Obsidian is launched this tray application removes it.
As a suggested solution:
launch on startup
off -> on state change
add login item once on the state change
on -> off state change
remove login item once on the state change
all other states
nothing
