Error when export of matRad data to Topas mc format #569
Comments
Hi DP Sorry for the late reply. I tracked down where your error is coming from and it seems like this was a bug that has been fixed a while ago but somehow the branch you were using was not updated properly. I now updated the branch, so this should fix your issue. Just pull the changes in your local repository and you should be good to go. Thank you for letting us know, I apologize for the inconvenience! |
Dear Noa Homolka
I have a question about the source distance of matRad. When I recalculate with other Monte Carlo simulation codes (that is not TOPAS or MCsquare), I should use Nozzle exit to Isocenter or SAD distance for simulation by using parameters from matRad.
Best, DP

Hi DP
Sorry for the late reply. I tracked down where your error is coming from and it seems like this was a bug that has been fixed in new versions but somehow the branch you were using was not updated properly. I will create a pull request to officially update the branch but this could take a few days to be approved.
In the meantime, I would suggest that you grab the "matRad_resizeCstToGrid.m" file from the master branch (https://github.com/e0404/matRad/blob/master/matRad_resizeCstToGrid.m<https://apc01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fgithub.com%2Fe0404%2FmatRad%2Fblob%2Fmaster%2FmatRad_resizeCstToGrid.m&data=05%7C01%7Cnipon.sai%40edu.cra.ac.th%7Ce4c02f3026fd4309a8e308da6661957c%7Ce835a63149be4657a4ac8fb9f7b61a89%7C1%7C0%7C637934866572892908%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C3000%7C%7C%7C&sdata=Y0nvnwIGhjL0T1P4HpuL1FOmfxlLWE5l6yxQ%2BQHcIjc%3D&reserved=0>) and just replace the one in your branch.
I apologize for the inconvenience!
Best, Noa

Dear all
When I export matRad data from "example12simpleParticleMonteCarlo" to Topas mc format I have a problem with section of dose calculation in the picture.
![1](https://user-images.githubusercontent.com/109076306/178571382-18e86d58-12b3-4482-a5eb-9704ca37d8de.png)
(I think it's caused by dissimilar size of the phantom (x = 271, y = 190, z = 775))
How do I solve this problem?
Thank you in advance
Best regard
DP
