After generating a new file using the coder, clicking "Open Diff" and then attempting to close the diff window prompts a file save dialog, preventing the direct closure of the diff window.

2.Click on the new file in the changed set area to open the diff.
3.Clicking "x" to close the diff triggers a file save dialog, preventing the direct closure of the diff window.

Thank you for the report. This is a know issue in the preview version. This and many other issues with the diff editor will be solved with the upcoming release (see eclipse-theia/theia#14910), e.g. the delay when opening a diff.
A (ugly) workaround: Open another tab, right click it and select "close all" (dont save).
