I can confirm this behaviour on PHP 8.1.28 and 8.2.19.

We're looking to deploy the PHP APM agent with our ionCube-encoded application. Are there any recommended workarounds or updates on this issue, or is this a known limitation with ionCube encoding?
APM agent is incompatible with ionCube.
