Steps to reproduce

  1. In a room with a recent message that people are reading, so read receipts are coming in.

(This only happens sometimes - I don't know why.)

Outcome

What did you expect?

The timeline should stay steady.

What happened instead?

The timeline wobbles up and down as new receipts arrive:

@germain-gg no idea, but could this be in any way related to your changes? Maybe the height of avatars are somehow varying? Just a guess, don't waste time on investigating unless you have a suspicion.
