Steps to reproduce

Element Desktop just froze up on me in my previous session while scrolling in a room that had messages I had already read on EX on my phone.

I was trying to use the scroll down to latest message arrow at some point, not sure if that's what froze it up. I had to kill the app and restart it.

Outcome

What did you expect?

Reading messages on Element X should not cause Element Desktop to crash / freeze requiring a restart

What happened instead?

Element Desktop froze, requiring it to be restarted

See attached rageshake / debug logs

Windows 10

Please retry with a newer version, that is 2 months old and many fixes have happened since then.
