What Happened?

After installing elementary 7.0 on my 2007 MacBook, I found that I could not type anything. I then found out that the num lock was enabled, despite it being reported as disabled in the settings. Bringing up the layout viewer showed that it was actually on.

The only way to disable it was to invoke the on-screen keyboard and disable it from there, as there is no physical key on the MacBook to disable it.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install elementary OS 7.0
  2. Reboot and log in
  3. Try to type anything

Expected Behavior

The num lock is not enabled by default and it respects the settings.

OS Version

7.x (Horus)

Software Version

Latest release (I have run all updates)
