Problem
There are some recurring goals that I'd like to manage in a way that is different from one-time tasks. These are less "Things I need to do" and more "Things I'd like to get better about". So I'd like to track them separately and view them in a different way from other one-time tasks. Examples of these kinds of recurring goals are:
Proposal
A separate "Habits" view designed specifically for recurring goals where I can see my progress towards completing recurring goals. Maybe presented in a different format from regular tasks

Presents recurring goals as circular progress bars with an icon. Also counts how many consecutive times you've met your task due date.
Apple Fitness/Activity/Rings

Apple doesn't allow you to set any custom goals, but I thought it was worth mentioning as a progress tracking and habit forming system. It presents goals as 3 progress rings and encourages you to "Close your rings" each day with a calendar overview of each day you've closed them and rewards streaks etc. Fitness will also provide you with a weekly summary and suggest changes to your goals either to increase their intensity or make them more realistic for what you achieved the last week
