Is it possable to boot a nand from the Type-c port? Say using a hub and a hhd. Looking to build a councel. And have many boards without matching emmc.

Read a nand image using this program? yeah, its just looking for the file. If you are talking about trying to boot a switch using the nand image though from a external drive, the answer is no. There are enough patches as is to get emunand from the sd card to work, USB isn't going to happen

And yes i would like to boot a nand from usb hhd. Thoes patches should be able to be redirected to usb hhd. Like a forwarder on the sdcard to the usb hhd.

Not likely gonna happen. Also, thats not how that works lol. Just because you can redirect to one device, doesn't mean its easy to redirect to a completely different and more complicated one

Then a custom nand on sd that directs to usb

Again, not how that works. Early boot is very restrictive, and USB isn't anywhere close to brought up enough to handle Mass Storage, especially at any sort of speed you would want to load a nand image off of

Unrelated to the issue, please go ask somewhere else. Issue reports arent really for conversing, everybody who is subscribed to the project or to issues gets a email every time someone posts. It gets annoying fast, trust me
