Add ability to vary menu entries and resource list titles

currently the menu item name (eg "MachineSets") is tied to the accordion list name due to the way that the id attributes are processed. this should be refactored so that the resource names in the menu and on the lists can be varied. this could be accomplished by giving the menu item and data sections an orthogonal id attribute, it could be plumbed through the functions as a parameter.
