This version of OpenStreetBugs is not under active development

Integration of OpenStreetBugs into the OpenStreetMap website began in 2010. Around that time active development of the Python variant in this repository was halted. Further commits were mostly done for maintenance reasons. I decided not to implement more features because that would just delay the integration (and would mean work being done twice).
I was not involved much in the integration effort, as far as I know there are two people working on it (KaiKrueger and TomH). In the meantime this effort became a Top Ten Task but there were and are tasks with higher priority too. See also OpenStreetBugs development.

I think all effort should go into this integration, but might not be able to contribute myself in the near future. Please be patient and/or find out how to get involved there.

The notes feature on osm.org is in production for quite a while now. As of today, adding new entries to OpenStreetBugs is disabled on the API side. There are zero open bugs remaining.
