From end user's feedback:
Searching is not working at all in the program. It is a bug but I don’t know it’s from my installation or something else.

We have recently fixed PubChem search.
We should check if feedback refers to search bar.
If it works, I would suggest considering this task completed. PubChem and other search improvements will be covered in scope of separate tasks
