Some of the desired functionality of fairtally is already provided by augur. We should look at collaborating with them in future sprints.

• It implements metrics which might be interesting to monitor and which could extend the checks performed by howfairis
• It gathers data (metrics) for a group of repositories
• It stores metrics at different points in time, which is useful to see how a community evolves.
• It generates reports/dashboards to visualize metrics.

From what I remember, those were the main features which could eventually be useful.
