Alt + O for ö is swallowed only in Chrome

EurKEY works fine everywhere, except in Chrome. I can type ä (⌥+a) ü (⌥+u) but not ö (⌥+o) into inputs and also not into the address bar.
It works fine in all other apps including Firefox and Safari.

I already tried the incognito mode to make sure it is not an extension that swallows the shortcut.

Do you have any idea how to debug further from here?

This does not seem to be an issue with the EurKEY layout, but you might share the same issue(?)

I have sent a bug report also to the Chrome support. I will keep you updated.

A colleague of mine had a pretty similar problem with Chrome. It turned out to be a Chrome extension that was apparently intercepting keystrokes.
