I'm packaging gently for the Debian operating system, and your node module is missing quite some "basic" information, without which I'm not able to continue its packaging.
It would be nice if you could clarify the license: there are various types of "MIT license"s -- the best option would be dropping a LICENSE (or COPYING) file in your source tree, so that everyone knows.
Moreover, there's no information about the author: it would be nice if you could put your name, surname and e-mail address somewhere in the source code, ideally in the package.json.
