Sharing and promoting first contributions

A lot of people find this project online to learn and practice contributing to open source projects.
I still see a lot of people online searching for something like this ( for example asking questions like "How can I start contributing to open source").
Let's discuss here how to reach more people and make this project easier to find

Hi @PriyamJChakrabarty, what specifically would you like to work on?

My proposed method is Collaboration with Learning Platforms.
I think partnering with coding bootcamps, online learning platforms, or open-source advocacy groups to feature the project as a resource for their students would sensitize a good size.

Hi @ikimathi, thank you for your input. I like the idea.

Would you like to take initiative on this? What are some learning platforms that you think would be a good match?

Hey @Roshanjossey, I was thinking, featuring the project as a learning resource to coding platforms like Codecademy and freeCodeCamp would actually be a good idea. I mean you could even test this analogy by engaging with a local coding institution/program. (personally I know Moringa School). Such programs have students and alumni, eager to gain hands-on experience, who are likely to make meaningful contributions. And I bet most of these programs emphasize open-source contributions and real-world projects, aligning perfectly with your goal of promoting an open-source initiative. I believe this approach could be a great fire starter.
