Inconsistent password restrictions #26

Not allow blank passwords ( also see numer 3 )
Allow special characters in passwords
Implement minimal length of five chars and max length of 64 chars ( it's annoying to limit password length for people who use auto-generated passwords ).

This is not a mission critical ticket, but we should address it sometime soon.
