"Up to date information about COVID-19 for everyone, verified by medical experts."

  • this is a very strong statement that in the medical community would include validation SOPs, governance, and people with proper credentials.

I suggest some softer language such as "by the scientific community" with a link to the contributors page.

@mellybelly - as of 2020-04-09, I see that the word 'medical' has been removed (see screenshot below). Was that it? I'd ping someone about further updates. 🌷

See this PR and the associated issue for additional context, but the word 'medical' was dropped merely to save space, not in response to criticism about the strength of the claim.

FWIW, I am not against updating it to say "by the scientific community", although this seems less urgent now that we are leaving the type of expert undefined.
