If not, why?

Hi! Sorry, PowerMatcher is currently not actively being developed. The main contributor TNO (the Dutch institute for applied scientific research) currently does not have any projects that make use of PowerMatcher. I believe the code base is still being used in academia.

We are however still very much involved in solutions for energy flexibility. If you're interested, let me know!

@wilcowijbrandi Thanks for the info. I was reading about PowerMatcher (https://www.tno.nl/media/1986/tno-powermatcher-jrv140416-01.pdf) and it looked quite useful! I am curious about the open source energy software landscape and where different efforts overlap. This project looks similar to some of the work going on at https://www.lfenergy.org/

@leblowl Alliander is a linking pin, being both involved with the Flexible power Alliance Network (FAN) and being a strategic member at LFEnergy. Although PowerMatcher is not actively being developed it has been put to the test. So I think the principles and the code still has plenty of value.
