hds + hw acceleration broken

With hw acceleration at startup only the top-left part of the video is visible in the bottom right corner of the screen.

on discovery while working on my snapshot feature there is a flash bug also with firefox osx that will fail to bring up the screen if the play button is clicked before the player is fully loaded. It's some keyframe issue requiring to trigger a seek to bring the video into stage video properly. I get this showing up from time to time with acceleration mode and not sure how to work around it on startup. In this case I don't see a problem on either chrome or firefox.
