playhead does not move with controlbar autoHide unset

Does not happen with core player 3.2.17
Similar symptom as #276 - but right from the start.

I'm actually seeing this same issue even when autoHide is enabled:

}

Specifically it seems to happen with FlasHLS streams as per the issue you linked.
