Upload new content without device resetting

Current:
If connected with usb and uploading a new text (i guess the firmware version?) M1-8 is displayed before the new content is shown.
After a short duration it switches back to the charging animation.

Desired:
Firmware version should not be displayed each time.
If device is switched to display text while charging (lower button) it should stay in that mode.

Guess I am trying to achieve something like #41 but as I have static content I could work with it staying in display mode while connected to usb.

We can make this as an option, switching on/off this option in a configuration.
