What
Here we want to talk about the roadmap in a general sense, so that we can then discuss together the various milestones of Freelens development.
Before
Recap of previous episodes:
I created the Freelens project.
It has been rebranded.
The development cycle via CI/CD has been restored, along with signing for MacOS, so that the app can be distributed for it in addition to Linux and Windows.
*Now
We are refining the distribution of the application and looking to also do the signing for Windows, thus arriving at our v1.0.
#121
Future
We would like to continue updating all dependencies, so as to maintain the product up to date.
After that, it is necessary to update it and implement what is necessary to always have all the features related to the latest version of Kubernetes.
Afterwards, given that the cycle of these updates is the basis, we can vote at community level on the new features to include in the product.
The idea is that the features are defined democratically by you who use it and that you can contribute to making them if you want.
In this way we maximize the usefulness of the product in free open source mode for all those who need it.
NextMainMission
We need to establish soon so surely a dedicated roadmap for the updates to be made, starting from the main components (Electron/Node/React) and arriving at every single possible dependency.
Everyone is invited to participate in this discussion, to propose their ideas and contributions by joining the team!
Thanks to everyone, for any form of support towards Freelens!
