What is "zc" and "egg" and "buildout" ?

I'm looking at mr.laforge from the context of needed a supervisord plugin to do HUP, but I have no idea what most of this documentation means....

That is all http://www.buildout.org/en/latest/ related. You should be able to just install it using pip and use the supervisor config from the readme: https://github.com/fschulze/mr.laforge#add-as-plugin-to-supervisord

If that works for you it would be great if you could do a PR which adds a section about installation with pip. Or you just add it to this ticket.
