should link to a corresponding gene page at NCBI Datasets via Gene ID:

and vice versa

I have looked into the gene out-links and have some browser code changes in the works to enable that. It will be a couple weeks before that code gets out to the public site.

NCBI Dataset pages now link to UCSC Browser instances such as here https://brc-analytics.dev.clevercanary.com/data/organisms/GCA_002775015_1
