Hi,
I am currently playing around to create an image for Dosbox-X (retroarch only comes with Dosbox, which has much less features) to run OS's DOS, WIN3.11 and WIN98SE: https://github.com/handtrixx/dolf . I was thinking instead of providing my own project i could make pull requests for your project. just not sure about: do you prefere 3 images for each OS or like i currently did 1 image using different config files by env variables? Also: do you like the idea at all, or should i keep it as a separate project?

Kind Regards

Hello there! 👋

First off, love the repo name dolf is brilliant!
This seems like a rather specific image, so it might be not the best fit for GOW.
It would be nice to have a "community images" place of some sorts. Do you have any idea?

I'll think about this a little bit, I have to flesh it out properly..

Hi, thanks a lot.
I share your thought, it's really a bit out of the "normal" design you created Wolf for. I just saw you already have a discord channel, and there a section "community-images". so i just posted an info about the repository there, in case someone else is curious or would like to do the same. For sure I also can create forum (standard software) or webpages (i use next.js) or whatever for you and host it, so you spare the expences. Just reach out about what you think would be best.

Hey @handtrixx

That's great,

The community-apps is relatively new but the intent was to have a place where community made images could be posted but also enable a means for people to seek support from others who use the image or the author.

The idea is to strike a balance between giving people more apps, but not necessarily the wolf team being responsible for maintaining these community apps.

Still early days on this but definitely welcome any feedback to improve this
