Sorry for confusion. The auto-save functionality is designed to save your chat records into the "Chat Record" section within the extension, rather than downloading the chat records directly to your computer.

It might not be the most convenient solution to download files directly in Edge, as you would need to confirm the download each time.

Additionally, please be aware that the auto-save feature may not be very stable when saving longer content. I am working on redesigning this feature.

Ok. I see my chats auto saving in that location, but only when I click "New Topic" and not when I close the tab.
