Ideally the main interface in the plugin should have an option to narrow down the choices of the "Type" and "Hovedtypegruppe" to accommodate a specific group of mappers f.ex.:

• Terrestrial or Limnic
• mapping scale 5000 / 20000
• which variables to be mapping

After selecting "grunntype/kartleggingsenhet" we would like to have information shown about this choice, which is non-editable. F. ex:

• LKM
• Long name broken down into explanations
• structuring process group

i have now resolved the selection procedure for filtering Type and Hovedtypegruppe (filtered by Type). Now we need to connect the filtered list "selected_code_id" on line 93 in my branch ui_filter in the nin_qgis_plugin_dockwidget.py to the geopackage creation...

Could you have a look at this @lasseke ?
