Avoid authenticating when calling geemap.download_ee_image_tiles_parallel

I noticed geemap.download_ee_image_tiles_parallel calls ee_initialize...Is it possible to avoid this?
I am authenticating using ee.ServiceAccountCredentials(account, secret) which works except when I call geemap.download_ee_image_tiles_parallel.

Good suggestion. It has been fixed in #2057. Run geemap.update_package() and restart the kernel to take effect. Set ee_init=False for the function to disable ee Initialize.

The conda-forge package can only be updated after we make a pypi release.

Ok I see that..I was not able to update the package with geemap.update_package(), I was thinking was maybe due to the fact I installed it with conda

geemap.update_package() should work no matter you installed it with pip or conda. You just need to restart the kernel after installation. Alternatively, use this:

%pip install -U git+https://github.com/gee-community/geemap.git

"TypeError: BaseImage._prepare_for_export() got an unexpected keyword argument 'ee_init'"
just to be sure, ee_init=False is now and argument of the download_ee_image_tiles_parallel function right?

It seems your package is not updated. Otherwise, it should have the ee_init argument.
Go to your package installation directory, open the common.py module and locate line 13095. If you don't see ee_init there, that means your package is not updated. Or press shift+Tab within the function to bring up the help document. You should see ee_init there.
