This is a feature request rather than a bug report.
Would it be possible to make the DES-DR1 catalogue the default finder for the Aladin Lite widget on the web pages for ATLAS objects discovered by the Southern Telescopes? Right now the DSS catalogue appears to be the default.
Will think about it. DES DR1 coverage is far less complete than DSS in the south, but some simple calculations using the "tank" coverage map should allow me to automatically switch.
No problem. Yes, the less coverage is annoying, but if the DES catalogue has coverage over the target area we should use it since it's a more detailed sky map.
I was thinking of this feature as "something that would be nice have" as opposed to "something we need to have" as it only takes a few seconds to manually swap the sky maps in the widget.
