Adding shafts to an array of huge diesel engines causes CTD, "Process exited with error code -1"

Same as above, although it seems to crash more frequently the greater the number of engines acting on the same shaft. Incl. is a pic of the setup in question, would CTD every 3rd or 4th additional shaft placed while engines running
