Hi all,
the Takeout data of Google+ is kind of a mess. Well, Google has been fiddling around with its social network for so long now, I am not surprised a tiny bit.
Current state is that posts are stored as HTML files (not JSON anymore as presumed by the plugin), images are spread in multiple folders, and date formats - well, the more the better...(I've written down some more details and an approach to a solution in this post).
I don't know if it's worth the effort to fix this because it is not unlikely that this won't work anymore in the near future.

You are probably right. Maybe this plugin should be flagged as legacy or something (this would also apply to the import twitpic plugin because the site doesn't exist anymore).
