Name
geoclue
Version
2.7.1 r23
Summary of the problem
This is user-facing.
In KDE Plasma, going to System Settings -> Colors & Themes -> Night Light
Click on Switching Times and choose "Sunrise and Sunset at current location"
The "Locating' progress bar will go for a long time. After a timeout, the location will be set incorrectly to 0,0
Cause
GeoClue moved from using MLS as a default provider to having no provider. This causes Night Light on KDE Plasma to not know the user's actual location and turn on / off at the wrong times unless you're in GMT.
Solution
Solus needs to pick a location provider and configure GeoClue to use it.
