Quick Terminal doesn't show up in all Aerospace workspaces

Hi there, I can't get the quick terminal to work with aerospace.
It only shows up on the workspace where ghostty is placed.

This is different from the tab issue, the current workaround provided in the docs doesn't cover this one.

Weirdly enough, I use an app called Menuwhere which lets me access the menubar commands of all my running apps
When I click on 'View > Quick Terminal' in a different workspace it shows up
But when I use the hotkey it doesn't

I am also facing the same issue. It shifts the focus to the ghostty workspace and also the the quick terminal looks weird too.

This seems like something that we're just missing a recommended Aerospace config for. I'm not sure this is a Ghostty issue at all. Although, if we can classify or label (AX APIs) our quick terminal some way to help I'm happy to do so.

on iTerm this work just fine. I have tried it today itself. So I am not sure if its only Aerospace issue or Ghostty issue

Yeah I assumed it was on Ghostty's side because I don't have this issue with iTerm's hotkey window either

You probably have Ghostty window to workspace assignment in your aerospace config. You open up a Ghostty quick terminal window -> it gets moved to the assigned workspace, well, formally, it works as expected :)

I haven't actually, that's the weird thing! Ghostty isn't assigned anywhere

If you say that you don't use on-window-detected callback to automatically assign Ghostty to a particular workspace, then I don't know what the problem is. It works fine on my machine

It turns out that it wasn't related to Aerospace at all, Ghostty just didn't have Accessibility permissions
I guess I missed the permissions popup somehow
@AnirudhG07 you might have specified that Ghostty windows should be put in a certain workspace in your Aerospace config

@lemomar Yes I have assigned it to a workspace. So I'll have to remove it to use the quick terminal? Can there be a config such that I can use ghostty in a specific workspace and then also use quick terminal.

I actually meant Aerospace config for ghostty, not ghostty's config. Sorry didn't convey properly.
