What exact API do you mean? HF models on SageMaker endpoints, or some other API directly from HF?

so that i don't need to have the model locally just provide the name of the path and it accesses the model and its weights from there.

Our repo already supports OpenAI-hosted models like GPT-4. Could you specify an example of a Hugging Face model you're interested in integrating?
