Feature Request: Optionally disable pop-up notifications with variable

In any environment with greater than a small number of errors (such as my testing cluster) using the UI can become prohibited by the sheer volume of errors that pop up and block the screen.

It would be great if I could pass a variable to toggle off the pop-up mechanism of these errors, which obviously doesn't avoid the errors existing, or from being able to see them if I go looking for them.
