They should not be merged with the original publication (?). It is up to the EndNote user how he/she will mark up the erroneous and the corrected publication

variant corrigenda should be merged:

The addition in braces at the end of "Erratum to Low Alpha-Fetoprotein Levels Are Associated with Improved Survival in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Patients with Portal Vein Thrombosis (Dig Dis Sci, DOI 10.1007/s10620-015-3922-3)" may block the merging with an erratum from another bibliographic database
