With Ubuntu 18.04LTS reaching end of life soon, and people moving to either 20.04 (python 3.8) or 22.04 (python 3.10), do you have any plans/schedules to release new .deb for these distributions?

Migration to newer Ubuntu version is somewhat blocked by our internal testing infrastructure. Since we are on Python 3.9 now (and soon will be on Python 3.10), I would expect 22.04 to be the next target. Hopefully, the release happens sometime in the first quarter of the next year.
