What is the problem your feature is trying to solve?
Testrun currently mandates/requires a hardwired Ethernet connection for the Internet Port. WiFi adapters do not appear in the list.

Image

In situations where the DUT may not be portable to the usual test environment for practical/logistical/financial/other reasons, it would be desirable to connect up a laptop or similar to the DUT and conduct testing largely 'wire-free' (the exception being the wired Ethernet connection to the DUT).

As an example, consider a construction/industrial/factory/manufacturer/datacentre site that may have no readily available hardwired Ethernet provision within the vicinity of the DUT. It would be most desirable to be able to connect a laptop to the DUT using Ethernet, and then leverage the WiFi or cellular adapter available on the laptop for the Internet Port.

Describe the solution you think would solve the problem
Allow use of WiFi or cellular network adapter for the Internet Port.

@MariusBaldovin could you investigate whether this is possible? If not, what are the errors produced etc? I'm sure I tried this during development and faced a number of issues.

@duncangreene I have tested this and encountered a number of issues. Currently, is not possible to use the wlan interface.
