No video is loaded on local environment

I've cloned the project and I've tried to run it.
I've configured the project following the readme, but videos are not loaded in the page.
As far as I can see the app does not perform any network request.
I've no idea on how to proceed.
I've also created a project using google-cloud-cli, but I cannot find anywhere and I could not find any reference.
