Popovers for UIActionSheet replacement in iPad?

Any ideas for implementing these within popovers as action sheets on iPad rarely stick out from the bottom?

I second this request, it would be lovely if someone implemented the actionsheet as popover on the iPad. Very beautiful, otherwise, but the actionsheet component is incomplete.

I needed this also, I got it working. I took the liberty to copy back in my changes from my project to a fork I did of this project. Take a look, you might not want all that I changed (I also added support to use images as backgrounds of the buttons instead of only colour).
