I see. So you are looking at real WMS Layers for Leaflet here? In this case, #29 and/or #40 might be closer to what you are asking for?

At #47 (comment), you said that

I am making the changes in grafana-map from custom-panel.

So, may I humbly ask if you actually are working on supporting WMS Layers within the Map Panel? If you are doing so, I would be more than happy to hear about it.
