This feature can be removed. This feature is used to increase the timeouts for egg when running on the considerably less powerful GH actions machines. But instead of using timeouts, we should just run for a specific # of iterations; this will be constant no matter how powerful the machine is.

This would be a good first issue for anyone wanting to understand a tiny bit more about how egg works.
