It was planned at some point in time, but unfortunately I have neither access to Apple hardware nor enough time at the moment to take on this project.
Since MoltenVK works well enough, I am also not sure I see the real benefit. The hard part is mapping SPIR-V to Metal shaders and MoltenVK already handles that mapping internally quite well.
Tanks for you answer, In fact MoltenVK is also great, but if apple developer use MoltenVK means they need mapping Metal to SPIR-V shaders, unless write a new project use MoltenVK fully.
I have a project using metal and work well, when I need integrate placebo, I'm facing such a predicament.
