As per the title, can someone help me choose the right XGS-PON module among those listed for integration with an openwrt machine running on Qotom C3758R mini-pc?
Soon I should have Free's symmetric 8gbps connection and the appliance I've chosen (the C3758R) has 4 sfp+ cages and plenty of computing power to route all my potential traffic and for a few more services I might add in the future.
Due to the symmetric nature of the connection, it requires an XGS-PON, although I have no clue which model and brand to choose. This is because there's not much documentation on the new Freebox Ultra and its modules in its sfp+ for the fiber.
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Also, if there is someone in France who has the same connection and is willing to experiment on the parameters to pass to the module itself, given that there's a compatible one, I am willing to sponsor the procurement of such a module.
Best regards
Eugenio.
