The HAFS repository contains source code and supporting files for the Hurricane Analysis and Forecast System (HAFS).
This wiki is a work in progress; more information will be added as time allows.
Please see the Getting Started page for information on supported platforms, and visit the User's Guide Quick Start chapter for instructions on running HAFS.

The Contributor’s Guide provides information on contribution standards and processes for developers interested in contributing to HAFS. Among other topics, it includes:
- A chapter on forking the HAFS repository
- A chapter on creating a Feature Branch
The latest operational release tag for HAFS is hafs.v2.0.1. See the Tags page for more information on the latest release versions. Currently, community support for releases is limited, but users are welcome to adapt the release code for use in their research.
