Introduction

GetAMeta is a web-based meta tag generator built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It provides a user-friendly interface to generate meta tags for optimizing website metadata. The generated meta tags enhance search engine visibility, social media sharing, and overall website performance.

The application uses the following libraries and resources:

  • Tailwind CSS (v2.2.19) - A utility-first CSS framework.
  • GSAP (v3.8.0) - A JavaScript animation library.
  • jQuery (v3.5.1) - A fast, small, and feature-rich JavaScript library.

Usage

To use GetAMeta, follow these steps:

  1. Clone or download the repository from GitHub.
  2. Open the index.html file in a web browser.

On the GetAMeta webpage, you can enter the following details:

  • Title of your website
  • Description of your website
  • Keywords (separated by commas)
  • Meta Image URL (optional)
  • Crawl this Website Every 'X' Days (minimum value is 1)

Once you have entered the necessary information, click the "Generate" button. The generated meta tags will appear in the "Your Meta Tags Will Appear Here" textarea. You can copy the generated meta tags by clicking the "Copy" button.

The application also provides the ability to add keywords as labels dynamically. You can enter keywords in the "Keywords (separated by commas)" input field, and they will be displayed as labels below. To remove a keyword, click the "x" button on the corresponding label. The "Clear" button clears all entered keywords.
