New users working with the Guardian often need to search for information on an external documentation portal. Additionally, there are no quick links connecting specific pages in the documentation to corresponding features or sections within the Guardian, making it harder to find relevant help when needed.
This is just an Idea for the future to help new users or highlight some new updates in the Guardian
Minimal Solution
Update Documentation with updated UI screenshots and descriptions
Add Button (How to get started/User Guides) on all general pages with link to specific page in documentation.
Optimal Solution
Add Toggle to Activate Onboardings & User Guides in user Profile page
Add User Guides with visualisation inside dialogs with pagination, showing by clicking on Button (How to get started)
Show these dialogs as an “Onboarding” messages when user will first time logged in or open some pages.
Link blocks, pages and other structural elements in Guardian UI (especially policy editor as it seems to be the most difficult aspect) to a specific places (blocks and/or slides or sections) inside User Guides in Guardian. This will simplify the search process and reduce the time spent looking for relevant pages or sections within the documentation. It would also help with updating content as it will be updated everywhere after update in original document.
Prepare/redesign animations/images/videos inside User Guides to make them look consistent everywhere (in all slides/pages).
